Celebrate Life

As I walk here down the celebrated pathways of my life
The sun brushes the leaves through the big green trees
Life hangs down draping in the soft hot breeze, I can’t tell if I must sit or fall to my knees
I hear the gentle hum of running water and people chatter
I look up only to see my reflection hanging off a camera lens
‘‘Tis hot and the sun grazes my skin, there in a mirage of the distant day shimmers the silhouette of a form so beautiful it seems surreal
She holds my gaze, locked in to hers
She is me and I am her
Together we are we
Her mirage comes closer
Gently moving sweeping movement into her surround
Stuck is her power, or such is my awe
I stand as to see
I dive as to swim
I swim as to float
I float on top of and inside of
Her deep blue sea
