Noteworthy among these is the Nelson Mandela Capture Site, a poignant memorial and museum commemorating the site of Mandela's arrest in 1962, a pivotal moment leading to his decades-long incarceration. The site features a striking sculpture of Mandela's visage, constructed from 50 steel columns, which has become an iconic symbol of remembrance.
