Twilight

In the cradle of twilight, I bid the world good night,
Hoping for rest, where all hearts take flight.
Where shadows dance lightly, and whispers do sing,
As the winds weave their magic, and freedom takes wing.

“Run free as a wolf, let your spirit take flight,
Howl at the moon, in the depths of the night.
To the night sky so bright, I cast forth my plea,
Please bring a peaceful night, where dreams flow like the sea.”

A place where souls gather, their laughter a balm,
In this enchanted realm, where chaos feels calm.
I dance in the rain, let its rhythm unfold,
As I sing with the demons, both fierce and bold.

The moonlight envelops me, a silvery shroud,
In the forest so warm, where my heart beats aloud.
The ground, soft with moss, cushions my feet,
As ancient trees whisper, their secrets replete.

Their branches stretch high, like the tales that they hold,
Of heroes and legends, of truths yet untold.
The heartbeat of the world is my song in the dark,
A melody woven with life’s sacred spark.

As I drift into slumber, I thank you, dear universe,
For the beauty around me, for the blessings I traverse.
In the quiet of night, let my dreams gently weave,
A tapestry of wonder, a sanctuary to believe.

Good night, gentle world, may your spirit find peace,
In the hush of the evening, where all troubles cease.
With shadows as guardians and starlight as guide,
I surrender to dreams, where my heart can reside.
