Sometimes I feel
Not of this world
Delicate, floating as if on the wind
Cloud high
My world and life gently blow by
Unnoticed by the eye
I stop long enough not to notice anything
Stand still long enough so nothing grows under my feet
The light casts tree line shadows
Draws me to awareness
The full light lifts off my mind
I bang and boulder into consciousness
I see the delicate world of that which I live but choose to leave
I feel the pang of night push against my chest
I ponder upon this wind that carries me
I am slight, light and taking flight
